Current Vacancies:
Marketing Assistant
Barrhead, Glasgow Salary Circa £15-20k
Hours: 8.00am- 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Due to ambitious growth plans, an opportunity has arisen for a marketing assistant to help support our brands, marketing activities and tools our team may use in order to help promote the company; based in our Head Office in Barrhead, Glasgow.
The day to day job includes:
- Write news for all our websites and external sites
- Assistance with our current marketing activities
- Aid in the creation of new marketing material
- Assistance with our Social media platform
- Administration and development of online shop
- Help manage multiple website and create content optimised for the web
- Link building for current sites
- Managing and controlling general admin, i.e. stationary orders, promotional orders, invoices, monthly reports, etc
- General task assistance
The successful candidate will be involved in a broad variety of activities, supporting staff across Scotland.
Ideally, successful candidates will have:
- Understanding and interest in marketing communications and social media
- Very strong computer literacy, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook packages
- Experience using design packages such as Photoshop, Gimp and Flash
- Video and sound editing experience desirable
- Previous experience within a professional services environment is desirable
- An interest in Social Media and ideas/opportunities it presents in business
- Excellent written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to deal with people at all levels
- Graduate in a relevant discipline (Marketing or Business) desirable
- Brand awareness and the importance of maintaining a brand
