What is involved with a property survey

A property survey will normally consist of:

• An external review looking for potential water ingress
• Inspection of exposed timbers that are made available to the surveyor
• Examination of the roof void timbers and sub floor timbers (should access be available – Common roof voids at an additional cost)

Our surveyor can examine the whole property or a particular part; all subject to a customer's stated requirements.  Following the property survey, a verbal indication is given as to the extent of any property problems along with the cost of treatment if necessary.  

What makes our property surveys different?

To assist with a property survey, Wise Property Care have invested in the latest diagnostic technology available enabling thermal imaging and photographic evidence of the problems afflicting a property.  It means our surveyor is able to be far more precise within the property survey regarding the extent and cost of work and it reduces uncertainty, disruption and cost throughout a project.

What about the property survey report?

A written property survey report can be prepared detailing precisely our surveyors observations and recommendations including an estimate for those property repair works required, and a detailed drawing indicating the areas of treatment work required.
