Wise Property Care are ecstatic to announce we have added a new award to our trophy cabinet. This latest accolade is “Website of the Year”: Awarded to us at the annual Property Care Association Awards.
Winning this award is massively pleasing for us because our website is one of the crucial parts of our customer journey; it is also a part of the business that our marketing team dedicate an incredible amount of time to.
We have won this award before, back in 2015, and our website has evolved quite significantly since then. The biggest change being a switch to a mobile and tablet friendly “responsive design” which means the website will look great regardless of the screen it is displayed on. We have also spent time adding content like videos, infographics and blog posts to keep our customers up to date with the latest advances in the industry.
Updating and maintaining the website requires a lot of ingenuity and graft from our marketing team, so to see this effort recognised by our industries governing body is incredibly rewarding.
The PCA Awards 2017
The PCA Awards is one of the year’s major events in property preservation circles and the 2017 ceremony did not disappoint. This year’s event took place in front of a full house at The Slate Conference Centre at the University of Warwick on Thursday 4th of May. It was another exceptional evening for everyone in attendance - especially the elated award winners.
This is the 8th year the PCA Awards have been identifying the best talent in UK preservation and other awards presented on the evening included: Innovation and Sustainability, Project of the Year, Training and Staff Development and Employee of the Year.
The esteemed judging panel consisted of Ray Ferris (The Head of Compliance and Standards at Trust Mark), Dr Hector Altamirano (Building scientist with UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering) and Paul Cribbens (Standards Manager with NHBC).
There was also a raffle for PCA chairman Andrew Bradshaw's selected charity: The Rainbow Trust. An excellent organisation who help sick children and their families.
Our sister company Wise Basement Systems also received a commendation in the Project of the Year category for our work on a commercial property on Edinburgh’s iconic Waverley Bridge. You can read about that project by clicking the button below.
Our representatives for the awards ceremony were our Marketing Manager Andy Ferguson and our Glasgow Branch Manager Peter Ross. They certainly look like they enjoyed themselves.
The Future of the “World Wise Web”
Despite winning a prestigious award, our team wont stop working hard on improving the website, so keep your eyes peeled for new content and features being added all the time.
Wise Property Care marketing manager Andy Ferguson says “Winning the award for Website of the Year is a proud achievement for my team. The website is often the first point of contact that people have with the company, so it also gives us a great peace of mind to know it is of a high standard. That said, we will always strive to improve the way we communicate with our customers and the website is a massive part of that, so you can look forward to even more super stuff on Wisepropertycare.com in the near future.”
